Its A Small World After All
I was driving aroun today. Didn’t go far, just across town and back to get Josh from his mates. It was just after work so there were loads of cars on the roads. Some cars had just the driver in (well, duh!). Some had passengers.
It got me thinking. I know, takes a great deal sometimes. How many cars do we pass each day? I was in the car for about 30 minutes in the round trip from work to Josh’s mates then home again. I bet I passed at least 100 cars. More? Probably.
How many of these cars do we pass everyday? 10%? 20%?
Now take each unique car that you pass. They pass a similar amount of unique cars – and thats only if they are on the roads for just 30 minutes. Most journeys are longer?
We must pass loads and loads of different people every day.
I went to the Barnsley vs Man City match at the weekend and every time I go to Oakwell there are hundreds of people I don’t think I’ve met before. Some I recognise, but the majority I don’t.
Perhaps I need a photographic memory to explore this more?
Who am I?
Who are you?
Hang on a minute – what am I doing in an aircraft carrier full of penguins…
